Groups and choirs
Our Groups for 2024-2025
The majority of our group rehearsals are now held at the Albany Theatre rehearsal spaces and studios with some groups held at other venues across the city (see below for the full list of groups and venues).
After hours music lessons will now be held on Thursdays at the Southfields Adult Education Centre.
We are excited to have launched some new opportunities, including the ability for Session Band, flute and string players to combine into a weekly orchestral rehearsal that will lead into our regional Swan Youth Orchestra, who mean several times a year.

We are always looking for new members to join our groups. This is a chance to develop your music skills and play with other musicians, as well as getting the opportunity to perform across the city.

We have groups for all levels and abilities, everything from choirs, to string orchestras, to rock band projects and inclusive creative music groups.

Sign up links for our new groups are can be found below. Sign up, pay the small termly fee and come along to the group. Please note groups are paid for termly.

Pricing for our groups for 2024-25 is:

Terms and Conditions
- Prices are subject to change.
- Groups are 30 sessions per year (averaging 10 sessions per term. Note some terms may be less than 10 sessions)
- Instrument hire is free to all students who take up a service with us, inc. tuition directly with us or through school, or when joining one of our music groups.
- Not all instruments can be hired - please check with us for more details.
- Parents signing up for any of our services directly with us will be billed monthly by direct debit, except for groups where you will be asked to pay termly)
- There is a cap of the highest priced group attended per term for students who attend two or more groups and a cap of £80 per family per term.
- Bursaries will be available from Coventry Music Trust for all Musicians who cannot afford fees.

- Once payment has been made your child will be added to the group register and can start attending. Please note that payment is for one full term, regardless of start date and refunds will not normally be given for part terms attended.
